Sebastian Kiarie's was at Banana Hill art gallery in February

Sebastian Kiarie is one of my favorite Kenyan painters, but of course, i have many favorites. It's just that his story is so compelling, i had to put him in my doctoral dissertation and it remains in my soon-to-be-published book, CREATING CONTEMPORARY KENYAN ART: ART NETWORKS IN URBAN AFRICA.
Kiarie's Mama Making Chapati, the special Kenyan bread is one of his works that i like a lot. But then, i appreciate all of his art.
A Family is a sweet ensemble. You see the omnipresent Tea Pot and the brown bun. Yummy stuff!

My Banana Hill story focused on Sebastian will be in Business Daily this coming Friday, March 8th, 2013
